Licensing procedure for technology tranfer applies to technologies that are restricted to tranfer;

Proposal for technology tranfer to be accepted:

Organizations, individuals that need to receive or assign technologies categorized as restricted-to-tranfer technologies must file documents to competent authority for technology tranfer licenses.

Time limitation for examining technology tranfer proposal is 30 days since full valid dossier is filed to competent body.

Technology tranfer licensing

After getting approval from authority, concered parties carry out signing technology tranfer contract. Then, one of the parties is responsible for filing documents to competent body for the agreement to be licensed. Within 10 working days since receiving full valid dossier, such authority will examine the technology tranfer licensing.

Registering technology tranfer agreement

Parties that sign a technology tranfer contract have right to register such contract to competent authority in order to enjoy preferential treatment stipulated by law in Vietnam.
